URA property information on the iPhone and iPad

From Wednesday, home-buyers will have easy access to property market information on the go from their iPhones and iPads. Developed by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), it can be downloaded from the Apple’s App Store.

It will allow members of the public easy access to transaction and rental prices for different private housing projects by project name, street name and district.

Users can also see the prices of all private residential units transacted in a particular area or within a certain radius of a showflat on a map.

URA said this will allow them to make better informed decisions.

It plans to make the same application available on Android phones in the 4th quarter of this year. URA has also enhanced its Property Market Information eServices on its website.
