The Urban Redevelopment Authority is inviting developers to apply to put a residential property site at Jalan Jurong Kechil up for tender.It covers about one hectare – big enough for a 14,000-square metre development.
However, it has a very short lease period of only 30 years.
The site can be used to build either a condo or retirement housing.
The URA is prepared to throw in incentives if the successful bidder chooses to develop a project for retirees, by allowing additional medical or communal facilities to be built on the land.
