Two land sites, with an estimated yield of 1,000 housing units once developed, will be released this month by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Housing and Development Board (HDB).
In a joint press release on Thursday (Sep 25), the agencies said that the two sites will be launched under the second half of the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme for this year.
A residential with first-storey commercial site at Upper Serangoon Road will be launched by the URA under the Confirmed List. The site has a maximum gross floor area of 30,292sqm and will yield an estimated 340 housing units once developed.
The tender for the Upper Serangoon Road site will close at 12pm on Nov 13, the press release stated.
The other site, launched by the HDB under the Reserve List, is at Dundee Road. The residential-only site has a gross floor area of 51,529sqm and is expected to yield 645 housing units.
Confirmed List sites go on sale regardless of interest from developers, while Reserve List sites are triggered for a public tender only if a developer makes an acceptable opening offer.
