A new development under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) has been launched in Hougang.
Parkland Residences will be located near the junction of Hougang Avenue 8 and Upper Serangoon Road, within walking distance to the Hougang MRT Station.
Major expressways such as the Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE), Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Central Expressway (CTE) are also within easy reach.
The project’s developer says the multi-storey car park will also have one of the highest car park-to-unit ratios for public housing, addressing a concern of overcrowding in some HDB car parks.
Prices range from S$359,000 for a 3-room unit to S$706,000 for a 5-room premium unit.

3-room units: S$359,000 to S$404,000
4-room units: S$485,000 to S$571,000
5-room units: S$606,000 to S$676,000
5-room premium units: S$608,000 to S$706,000
E-applications start on Friday and will close on January 10.
Potential buyers who live nearby turned up to view the show-flat.
One couple commented: “We’re still waiting for more BTO launches. Because her parents live nearby, so we’re looking at this DBSS as an additional option.”
Another couple said: “We have not decided; we just wanted to put our names in the e-application to book a place. So in the event if we’re lucky enough, we’ll come for the ballot.”
