Property developer UOL Group is set to launch its latest freehold mixed development this Thursday.
Called Katong Regency, the 224-unit project is located on the former site of Lion City Hotel and Hollywood Theatre along Tanjong Katong Road. It comprises three residential towers situated atop a three-storey retail mall dubbed ONE KM.
The residential component offers 126 one or one-plus-study bedders, 58 two or two-plus-study bedders, 36 three or three-plus-study bedders, six three-bedroom penthouses and 18 one-bedroom sky suites, with built-up areas of between 550 sq ft and 1,970 sq ft.
“Rarely do we find a freehold site that is so near to the city centre and yet so strategic in location for families and businesses,” said Kam Tin Seah, Senior General Manager for Investment & Strategic Development at UOL Group.
“With the mixed-use development, we hope to be the catalyst to rejuvenate the Tanjong Katong enclave like what we did successfully in the past with Tiong Bahru and Novena.”
The project is targeted at middle- and upper-income buyers, said Kam, noting that 80 percent of the units are one and two-bedders.
Sited in District 15, prices start from S$950,000 for a one-bedroom unit, S$1.38 million for a two-bedder, S$2.05 million for a three-bedder and S$2.52 million for a three-bedroom penthouse.
UOL said the project is expected to obtain its TOP by Q1 2014 and will open concurrently with ONE KM.
The mall will have a total net lettable area of 210,000 sq ft and is expected to feature more than 150 tenants.
“ONE KM is conceived as the destination for lifestyle and knowledge, integrating edutainment, gastronomy, lifestyle experiences for the affluent family and ‘tweens’,” said UOL.
