The Housing & Development Board (HDB) is launching the land at Yuan Ching Road for sale by public tender under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) on Tuesday.
The tender will close at noon on January 5 next year.
The site is located near the Jurong Lake district, which will be developed into a unique lakeside destination for business and leisure.
It is also near Jurong Point, IMM, Taman Jurong and Boon Lay Shopping Centres.
Other attractions include the Jurong Lake Park, Chinese and Japanese Gardens, Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Science Centre and Snow City.
Bounded by major expressways such as Pan-Island and Ayer Rajah Expressways (PIE/AYE), the land parcel is also near Lakeside and Boon Lay MRT Stations as well as Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
First-timer households with monthly incomes of up to S$10,000 now have the option to buy new DBSS flats with a CPF housing grant of S$30,000.
However, the HDB concessionary loan would not be available to these buyers.
Ninety-five per cent of the flat supply for public applicants will be set aside for sale to first-timers.
