The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has launched the tender for four residential sites, which could yield approximately 2,070 residential units.
Three of the four land parcels were released under the confirmed list, while the last plot was made available under the reserve list of the 1H2012 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.
The three sites — Punggol Central/Edgefield Plains (pictured), Fernvale Lane and Punggol Way/Punggol Walk, are slated for executive condominium (EC) development and could generate approximately 1,725 units.
The 13,241.8 sq m land parcel at Punggol Central/Edgefield Plains has a leasehold period of 99 years and could yield 395 housing units, while the site at Fernvale Lane can accommodate some 770 units on a 21,999.9 sq m site.
The tender for the two sites will close on 29 March and 3 April 2012 respectively.
The 99-year leasehold site at Punggol Way/Punggol Walk has an area of 18,704 sq m and is located near the Punggol bus interchange and MRT station. It also offers easy accessibility to other parts of the island via the Tampines Expressway (TPE).
The fourth land parcel, a 23,322 sq m site at the junction of Elias Road and Pasir Ris Drive 3, is proposed for strata landed housing or condominium/flat development. It has a maximum allowable gross floor area (GFA) of 32,650.8 sq m and a gross plot ratio of 1.4.
The HDB noted that tender for the site will close on 11 April 2012.
