CEA, CASE kick off quarterly real estate seminars on Aug 17

The Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) and the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) will kick off a new series of quarterly seminars on the property sector this month, with the first seminar featuring industry experts who will speak on topics such as the responsibilities of salespersons, financing options for properties in Singapore, as well as buying overseas real estate.

Mr Dennis Tay, the Chief Executive of real estate accreditation and training firm SAEA, will talk about the process of engaging a property agent.

Among the other speakers, Mr Michael Tan, Key Executive Officer of property agency OrangeTee, will focus on the key considerations when buying an overseas property. Mr Martin Tay from the Association of Banks in Singapore will discuss the financing options for property purchases and some of the loans available in the market. The first seminar will be held on Aug 17 from 10am to 1pm at the NTUC Centre, 1 Marina Boulevard.
