The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Tuesday launched the tender for a commercial site at Robinson Road and Cecil Street.
The land parcel, located within walking distance to Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, occupies a prime location in the heart of the Central Business District.
The 0.29 hectare site, which can generate about 32,000 square metres of gross floor area, is poised to be developed into a good-quality office building.
The proposed commercial development up to 35 storeys in height will also enjoy excellent visibility.
Zoned for commercial development, the site will have at least 80 per cent of the total gross floor area allocated for office use.
The remaining floor area can be developed into additional office space, or for other uses including retail, as well as food and beverage uses.
The tender for the site will close at noon on September 20.
